In The Wedding Band Workshop students make a traditional band like half round, courted and rectangular styles.

Students will work directly with the metal in a “Fabrication” (not casting) process. This is a great beginners process and is pretty much fool proof but that is not to say that there isn’t still a great deal of work involved!

In the fabrication process you will learn how to cut to length, form, solder, form again, sand an polish the your wedding bands to perfection.

After you have made the base band you can take it at the end of class as-is or leave it with us to add further embellishments like Rhodium Plating, Stone Setting (some students bring in their own sentimental stones or we can get some for you), Decorative Hand Engraving on the outside, Millgrain and Engraved Lines.

All additional embellishments are an extra charge and vary depending on your needs.

The cost of your metals can vary greatly based on several decisions that you will make during the free consultation and fitting that you will have with us before the day of your workshop which we prefer to book a month in advance. The types of metal that you can use in The Wedding Band Workshop are White Gold, Yellow Gold, Rose Gold and Sterling Silver. Gold for your wedding bands can cost anywhere from $80 – $1,000 per wedding band depending on a number of factors. We do appologize for the breadth of this estimate and will be able to give you an accurate quote on your materials cost following our free consultation with you.

After you book your Wedding Band Workshop we will send a follow-up questionnaire to you by email in order to arrange your free consultation and fitting, and to provide you with some options for the date of your Wedding Band Workshop. If you are attending the workshop as a couple then we will encourage you to both attend your free consultation together.

If you would like your free consultation prior to confirming to your workshop booking then please feel free to request your consultation with us by following this link.
